Water Loss

As you may have heard, a main water line broke in Ogden last week and caused around 4500 homes to be without water for 3-4 days. We were one of the lucky ones to be included in that number. Fortunatly for us, we had already had a trip up to the cabin planned, so we didn't go without for too long. I was thinking about this and it made me realize how important it is to be prepared for emergencies. We know that we are going to expierence "signs of the times", and sometimes I think that we think it is always going to be huge clamaties that we will expierence. Not having running water was pretty crappy, and I know that it was in a small compared to what is to come, but it is times like these that I am greatful for a prophet who counsels us to be prepared. Although I couldn't shower, we never went without a drink.
